Transition Dance Company is a community created to build dancers, friendships, grow confidence, shape and achieve dreams — but we are more than just a dance school. TDC thrives on our fantastic reputation of providing a safe, loving and non-judgemental platform for our students to develop and grow through the world of dance.
TDC was formed in 2015 with our Principal Emma teaching the foundations of dance, and has grown ever since — now providing 6 days worth of classes from our home at TDC Studios in Glengarnock. We have a team of well-trained and supportive teachers, who love what they do and are passionate about training, sharing their diverse wealth of knowledge, and helping grow our dance family to the best we can be.
Our classes maintain a high level of technique training, physical exercise and learning discipline, while providing fun lasting memories, building confidence and developing lifelong friendships.

This year, TDC celebrated its 10 year anniversary. Proud to be nominated North Ayrshire's Best Dance Group at the Scottish Business Awards 2025, and named winners of Scotland's Prestige Awards 'Dance School of the Year 25/26'. All achievements we couldn't have reached without our loving, loyal and passionate dance family.
